Being fun? I haven't bought a COD game since the first Modern Warfare, but I'm almost certain that if nothing else, then fun would be the blame for this question.

You didn't really present a valid point with that statment. Let me see if I can help. GOW is young, correct, and I think you wanted to point out that it has room to grow. The thing is though, the well known Nintendo franchises can still grow also, no matter their ages....
We'll see if this holds true when Zelda comes. If they still put up those crazy numbers, then no, Nintendo won't be in any trouble. And the 3DS is right around the corner, so I have a hard time seeing Nintendo not being happy. You might see some smear campaigns like this article seems to be, but besides that, Sony, MS and whoever else, wants Nintendo's success.

After all the transformations and delays, this game was actually a real treat. I might pick this up to add to my 360 gamer score and collection, since I already played it a few years ago on the PS3 with no trophy support.
FrankMcSpank, you might think its the most original game out this year, thats your opinion. Its a great game no doubt, but if anyone wants to go with 'atmosphere' then Metro 2033 blows everything out of the water. First person shooters aren't my favorite genre, but if more of them had the intense atmosphere that Metro does, I would say first person shooters are definitely THE genre to beat. Halo: Reach is overrated. I'm sorry Halo fans. I prefer the 360 but I can't fully grasp the love for Halo. Bigpappy, I'm right there with you. I don't mind if someone calls me a casual gamer. I just don't have time nor the money to play all the games on all the systems. It would be nice though!!! My neighbor lets me borrow his PS3 sometimes and I'll rent whatever games he doesn't own already.
